Traditional Fixtures and Warm Tones: The owner of this flat is a Chinese antique art collector who has various collections of art piece that are displayed in the flat.
The design of this flat was to deliberately use light and plain material as the background to highlight the art pieces on the walls.
This theme creates a solemn backdrop for the owner’s richly textured art objects inspired by traditional Chinese furniture, a series of small scale custom-made shelving were designed to fit perfectly in the flat. Moreover, LEDs were all integrated into the shelves, to provide lighting for displaying various art pieces.
